If you aren't using the top right icon, try using that. On Windows, it is located at: Normally, when there's a saving problem that causes the game to act like it doesn't have a save, the files are still actually present but not accessible, and we can help people make them accessible. I can't recall seeing a situation where the Saves folder itself emptied that wasn't connected with a game update problem.
